This is the 12 year old Kurayoshi expression – a blended malt from the Matsui Shuzou distillery in Japan’s Tottori Prefecture. These whiskies are made with malts sources from Scotland, then blended with Japanese whisky and volcanic-rock-filtered water.

This Pure Malt has been aged for 12 years in ex-bourbon white oak barrels. This well-balanced whiskey comes with a nutty and bold malt flavor with a gentle vanilla and raisin taste. It is a non chill-filtered whisky, with a delicately light finish reinforcing the pureness of the Tottori’s spring water which is used during distillation.
