Buffalo Trace is the flagship bourbon for the eponymous distillery, the oldest continually operating distillery in the United States. Made from corn, rye and malted barley, this award-winning bourbon is aged in new oak barrels on the middle floors of the distillery warehouses where the temperature fluctuation is the greatest, for no less than 8 years. Only 40 barrels at a time are hand-selected to create one single, small batch of Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
This is a top-class whiskey, with an aroma of vanilla, caramel, mint and molasses. The palate offers sweet notes of brown sugar and toffee, which give way to oak, dark fruits, baking spices and anise. It finishes off with lingering notes of vanilla, barrel char and spicy complexity.
